Hello Parents and Students,

I am very excited for the opportunity to work with you this year. Second grade is such an exciting year for students, and I'm thrilled for the journey we will embark on together this year!

A little about myself: I grew up in Rock Hill, and I am a proud product of the Rock Hill School district. I graduated from Winthrop University in May 2012 with my Early Childhood Education degree. After completing my student teaching in a 3rd grade class at India Hook Elementary, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to start my career at IHES! I taught third grade for one year before moving to the wonderful second grade team, where I've taught second grade ever since. In 2017, I completed my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

I'm married to my high school sweetheart, Jordan. We have an 8-year-old son, Jackson, and a 3-year-old daughter, Emma Grace. I love that Jackson gets to join me at our amazing school, he will be in 3rd grade this year! Outside of school, we love to spend time with our friends and family, especially during football season. We are HUGE Clemson fans (GO TIGERS) and we also enjoy going to Carolina Panthers games.
