Hello Parents and Students,

Welcome to second grade! I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with you and your child this year. Second grade is filled with so many exciting experiences, and I can't wait for all that this year has in store!

A little about myself: I grew up in Rock Hill and am a proud product of the Rock Hill School District. I graduated from Winthrop University in May 2012 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. After completing my student teaching in a third-grade classroom at India Hook Elementary, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to begin my career at IHES! I taught third grade for one year before joining the wonderful second-grade team, where I have taught ever since. Then, in 2017, I completed my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

I'm married to my high school sweetheart, Jordan. We have an 9-year-old son, Jackson, and a 4-year-old daughter, Emma Grace. I love that Jackson gets to attend our amazing school; he'll be in fourth grade this year! Outside of school, we love spending time with our friends and family, especially during football season. We are huge Clemson fans (Go Tigers!) and also enjoy attending Carolina Panthers games.

I look forward to a fun year of learning and growing together in second grade!
